Brighton reminiscence

i really want to go travel again.
last study-abroad trip to east sussex, uk was the best time of my life. what i would do to visit brighton and london one more time.
i wanted to buy those gadgets and bring them back to the states, but alas, they were expensive (and the phones are too big to stuff into my luggage).

Oh time oh sugar

i was willing to purchase this sweet little pocket watch from ohhellofriend (the shop sets up a stall at the vendor fair in my university today).
i absolutely love it~

on the other notes, Starbucks' red velvet cupcake was delightful (their cupcake box's design looks pretty too). i never skip out an opportunity to try sweets.

tiramisu from local bakery. i did wish that it tasted close to the one i had in england. sadly, it wasn't as great as i expected it to be. it has a cute design though (the red candies are shoes).

Today

My mom just finished making these leggings for me that looked really nice (saved me the money to go buy one :D ), so I'm thinking of wearing them tomorrow to the family Christmas eve party. I even tried a combo of clothes to go along with it xD (gotta love my mom). I should try to ask her to teach me the art to sewing and making clothes so I can go shop less and save more money.hmm....

My family also went to Stater Bros to refill our refrigerator today with food (more like mountain of food). We tend to save up our changes (quarters, nickels, dimes and such) since the beginning of the year and change them to cash by the end of the year. This year we got around $100-$110, so we decided to use them all on food (that is our goal anyways). I can say that this is the first time that I can just grab whatever I want without having to calculate the amount of money. It's a fun tradition of my family xD *grins widely*

I finally got to read Ouran and Vampire Knight new chapter. Oh my word those two new chapters were so worth reading! So many revelations and surprising moments! I was dead shocked after reading Vampire Knight, and I know that the author is gonna throw more surprising twists and turns for the manga. Just...wow!

Can't wait for Nodame new chapter (seems to have a super...probably most...romantic moment between Chiaki and Nodame xD ).

I hate my house's electricity :< 'cause I was playing game and didn't even save yet; then suddenly there's a blackout.....I lost my game QAQ!!!!

Winter Break

I can't wait for Nodame Cantabile chapter 118! I saw one page of it and melted right on my chair >.< The Nodame drama in Paris won't come out until January too. Why? Why do I have to wait for everything Q_Q!!??
Even Ouran High School Host Club and Vampire Knight new chapter will take a while to be scanlated.
Hopefully all of the new chapters of the mangas that I like will come out on Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas, it seems that I have to go to A LOT of family parties (which are always tiring because all the relatives will come and start to speculate my family again...). At least there'll be food xD and presents!

Two more weeks 'till next quarter of school...I have such a short break (a friend of mine won't go back to school until the 27th of January).

Winter vacation seems more and more boring now. I can't wait for all those family parties and going out to the movie The Golden Compass tomorrow. I might as well go to Book-Off to buy some Japanese magazines; the fashion trend in Japan is really nice (if only I have all that money to go shopping and buy Japanese and Korean clothes).


And school....um....surprisingly I just found out that I have A- in my Biology class (I though it would be a B for sure because of how I did in the final but the curve seemed to pump up the B). And I got a B in chem...what a miracle.

Something new

I finally decided to get a blog for myself.
Livejournal also works but I'm co-blogging livejournal with a close friend so it's hard to get some feelings out using that account.

Layout is quite not to my liking but I shall change it when I have time.

Ah...How stupid of me to create a blog 2 days before finals U_U;
